Tonight! A very special in-store by Los Cometas E.E.U.U. at none other than your local Origami Vinyl. Based out of Long Beach, the three-piece group features a beach-y indie punk and garage rock vibe, containing vocals sung exclusively in Spanish. The Cometas major drive, besides rocking, is to "rid the prevalence of anti-Latino politics" that has been gaining support in Los Angeles and beyond.
Los Cometas E.E.U.U. released their four-track 7" titled "¡Amor en el Panteón!" on Discos Anclas last December. The band's upbeat sound is a mirror of its many influences, including Los Saicos, Arthur Lee and Love, The Seeds, Wire, The Jam, Link Wray, & Dancing.
