WHITE ARROWS LISTENING PARTY TONIGHT @ 8

Tonight's the night! Come down to the shop tonight to support LA based band White Arrows as they release their new album In Bardo!

We're going to be listening to the new album in it's entirety and hanging out with the band, who was nice enough to agree to come down and hang with us! As always there will be mouthwatering pizza and thirst -quenching drinks for your enjoyment as we all get to hear White Arrows newest album for the first time... Don't miss out on the fun!

FEEDING PEOPLE Listening Party @ OV TONIGHT! 8PM

Who says Mondays have to suck? Stop by Origami TONIGHT (Monday, Feb. 4th) at 8PM when we'll be playing Feeding People's latest release, Island Universe, in its entirety to celebrate the February 5th release of the LP on vinyl (via Innovative Leisure)!  We'll even throw in some FREE pizza, drinks, and giveaways for ya! How could a Monday night get any better?

Hailing from just south of Los Angeles, 19-year old Jessie Jones leads this Orange County band with a raw talent that Insound describes as "Jefferson Airplane meets Black Sabbath with one of the most powerful female voices in rock music since Janis Joplin and Grace Slick.  Beautiful ballads with a dose of psychedelia." Take Insound's word for it, but stop by Origami tonight to check out the strong psych roots and female vocal ferocity for yourself!

FOXYGEN Premiere Party Tonight! 8 PM!

At 8 PM we'll be playing Foxygen's sophomore album, We Are The 21st Century Ambassadors Of Peace & Magic (Jagjaguwar Records) in it's entirety! These dudes have been playing music since junior high and when they showed producer and musician, Richard Swift, he flipped his wig! We're stoked to hear what they've been working on - some have described this album as "the Kinks on acid." I'm pretty sure the Kinks were on acid but I'm still excited, nonetheless. Come by for pizza and drinks!
