Summer Darling's Self-Titled Album on Origami Vinyl is Out TODAY!

The wait is over! Summer Darling's Self-Titled debut album on Origami Vinyl is out today and you can download it for FREE here. The album has been getting strong press already (Rawkblog has already deemed it one of their favorite albums of 2010) and played a wicked show last night to open up their residency at Spaceland. The vinyl will be ready in less than 2 weeks and we will be sure to let you know as soon as they come in.

Here's some great things that press has been saying:
- "...the band earns its comparisons to the fringier elements of Neil Young and such thoughtful '90s punk as Fugazi and Shudder to Think" LA Times

- "The line between indie-pop and aggressive experimentation has been blurred." Filter Magazine

- "Sonically, the band’s influences are more Omaha and Washington, D.C. than Silver Lake — a bracing guitar record, Summer Darling touches on influences from Fugazi to Cursive to Radiohead" RawkBlog.net

- "Summer Darling evoke the emotional storminess of Neil Young's old work with Crazy Horse." LA Weekly

- "Simply one of the best bands in Los Angeles." LA Underground

If you would prefer to pay for the downloads and support the band, you can do that to by going to Summer
