Ben Harper and Relentless7 Live in the Origami Loft Tonight @ 9pm + New Adds and Restocks

Last Saturday, as we were preparing our shop for the BigBang in-store, a very familiar character walked in and began to browse the selection. After 20 or so minutes he had made his choices and casually walked to the register. BigBang had started to make a ruckus upstairs whilst setting up their gear and our customer looked up and said, "Oh shit!, I guess I need to look up more often!" After chatting with Sean for a few minutes he introduced himself. Sean recalled the memorable experience of watching Ben play at Bonnaroo a few years back with John Paul Jones and ?uestlove and mentioned how he would love to hear that on a record. After many friendly exchanges, Ben mentioned something about wanting to play the shop and gave Sean his email. A couple emails back and forth and here we are, less than a week later, all giddy about Ben Harper and Relentless7 playing probably their most intimate show ever (45 people capacity). Crazy!

So here's the deal... We will start letting people line-up outside (in a secret location) at 7:30pm. No one is allowed to line-up prior. At 8:45pm we will clear out all the customers in the shop and let in the first 45 people. Ben Harper and Relentless7 will start around 9pm. We aren't sure how long they plan on playing, but we hope they jam out as long as possible.

We ask that everyone plays nice tonight. This is a very special opportunity for everyone. Please remember that we are just a little record shop.

We want to thank Ben and Relentless7 for being such strong supporters of our shop and gracing us with this very special performance.

For those about to shop, here are some newbies in time for the weekend!
