A Couple of Important Shows That We Think You Should Hit This Week

This week there are two very important shows that you should try and attend if possible.

The first is being put on by local label Manimal Vinyl to raise funds to the people of Haiti on Friday, January 22nd. Paul and Estelle have been working around the clock to put together an evening where we can all gather, donate a little cash and enjoy some music. There will also be various items raffled off throughout the evening including 2 $25 Origami Vinyl Gift Certificates.

The Line-up is still being finalized, but here are the artists confirmed so far...

- Pizza!

The show will be held at the Echoplex and entrance is a $10 donation. The flier is below.


The second show is on Saturday, January 23rd to raise money for local non-profit Killradio.org

That show features:
- Laco$te
- Dirt Dress
- 60 Watt Kid
- Restavrant
- The Cooling Time
- Essay

The show will take place @TOW (1450 E. Sixth Street, Los Angeles, 90021 between Mateo and Santa Fe at the base of the Sixth Street bridge) @ 8pm. Tickets are available in advance at Origami and are 2 for $17 or 1 for $12. Tickets automatically enter you into a raffle to win cool stuff.
