The Street & Babe Shadow (Luke Paquin & Paige Stark) will be bringing us their warm, laidback style of americana this coming Friday at 7pm. Now I'm not trying to do a list of "this-band-sounds-like" but I hear moments that remind me of Calexico, The Doves & Nick Cave...and that's just the first three songs. Just to be clear The Street & Babe Shadow are not wearing their influences on their sleeve. They are just good enough to call those bands their contemporaries.
