Texas? SXSW? Are you free today? Origami Vinyl / The Echo / The Echoplex are pleased to present... SXSW Throwdown!! The showcase is going on at Shangri-La (1016 East 6th St #B Austin, TX 78702) from 11 am - 8pm. Admission is FREE, if you are over 21. The lineup is super incredibly sweet and includes bands like Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Gauntlet Hair, Lee Fields and the Expressions, Nick Waterhouse, Blouse, Light Asylum, Superhumanoids, The Allah Las, NO, Fidlar, Races, Pangea, White Arrows, Big Scary, Writer, Black Flamingo and Daniel Ahearn & The Jones. The set times are posted below. Also, Generic Surplus will be on-site working with the charity organization, Sole 4 Souls. Attendees can trade out their old kicks for new ones to be donated to those in need. This offer is extended to anyone in Austin stopping by this showcase not only to hear some good music but to also lend a hand to the less fortunate. Sweet!! We'll see you tomorrow at 11AM. If you aren't in Austin, check the airfares. They don't look too expensive. Just saying....
