We're super stoked to be having singer/songwriter/guitarist Courtney Barnett, who's coming all the way from Australia, playing in our loft. Since starting her own music label, Milk Records, and releasing her acclaimed album, The Double EP: A Sea Of Split Peas, Barnett has been gaining popularity and critical praise everywhere she goes with her unique style of indie rock. With wordy, longwinded lyrics reminiscent of Bob Dylan but sung in a "lazy-Tuesday-Australian-drawl" Barnett manages to highlight everyday struggles effectively and creatively, making relatable and humorous songs (especially to us young people)!
