TONIGHT: In-Store with Julia Holter 7pm

One of Los Angeles' very own, Julia Holter, will be in-store tonight! What could be described as bedroom pop, quite literally as both albums were made in her bedroom, Julia Holter's sound is representing LA's experimental scene quite well. First shown to RVNG Intl by fellow LA experimental pop artist Ramona Gonzalez (you may know her as Nite Jewel) in 2009, Julia Holter has been on point. Last year's album, Tragedy, received number 4 on NPR's Best Outer Sound Albums of 2011 and just a year later Julia Holter released 2012's Ekstasis on RVNG Intl. Try to keep up--she is already planning her next LP, tentatively titled GiGi. Ekstasis has been receiving great reviews so don't miss this!
