Record Store Day 2012 - The Henry Clay People

The Henry Clay People!! Oh yeah, they'll be here playing our Record Store Day show (4/21) at the Echo. I hope you can make it, we have 8 bands playing and it's free and stuff.

The Henry Clay People are a rock band from Los Angeles. With common comparisons to Pavement and The Replacements they play a type of no-frills, pretention-free rock that has sorely been missing from LA. The band is made up of brothers Joey (vocals, guitar) and Andy (guitar, vocals) Siara, Jonathan Price (bass, vocals) and Eric Scott (drums). Since inception, the band has recorded five records and two EPs, played hundreds of shows across the US, and performed at music festivals such as Coachella, SXSW, and Lollapalooza. They have a new record titled "Twenty-Five For the Rest of Our Lives" due out in June on TBD Records.

Be sure to check out the Henry Clay People on Record Store Day! I'll see you there.
