TONIGHT: Gypsyblood in-store 7pm!

TONIGHT we're out for blood. Gypsyblood! They perform in-store at 7pm and we highly suggest you make it out tonight because not everyday do you have the opportunity to see a rad Chicago band play in LA for FREE!

In April, Sargent House released Gypsyblood's debut album, Cold In The Guestway, and since then band members Adam James and Kyle Victor have had a steady and deserved flow of praises. Gypsyblood is a self-proclaimed “strange amalgam of Pavement’s early hazy-pop singles, The Jesus and The Mary Chain, and early Guided by Voices,” but there is a lot of fuzz unaccounted for with the description at just that. Upon listening to Cold In The Guestway you get the vibe that you're moving with every track. Each song is like stopping at a little town on road trip; the stops all connect in a fluid manner but each one offers a unique element that catches you in a different way.

It will be difficult to stop looping the video for "Endless Summer" below but you really only have to make yourself stop so you can see the real thing tonight at 7pm!
