Tonight we're thrilled to co-present the second annual Teen Creeps art exhibition curated by none other than the sweetest lil lady in town, Clara of Clara's Cakes! It's happening tonight from 6-11 at The Vex.
Emily and Neil will be DJing, so stop on by for a night of amazing art, good vibes, groovy tunes, tacos by Plant Food for People, some of Clara's delectable goodies, and so much more! There will also be music by Cherry Glazerr and Party Jail! Check out why Clara is awesomely impressive and and how she inspired to put the show together:
"A year ago I went to see No Age play. The venue was packed to the brim and at least half the audience were teenagers. As soon as they started playing “Teen Creeps” you could feel the energy from the kids practically sweating out of them. Something sparked in my head. I thought it would be amazing to have people feel this energy again, only in an art space through teens’ art. I noticed that all the teen art exhibitions that were happening were associated with museums or schools, but nothing created and run by teens. I had met so many brilliant artists who just happened to be teens who deserved to have their work seen. It was almost like a formula in my head, teen artwork -middleman + a DIY method=Teen Creeps."
