What do two powerhouse musicians John Fryer (This Mortal Coil) and Rebecca Coseboom (Stripmall Architecture) sound like playing together? Well, we're not going to tell you, we're gonna to show you. Fryer's new project Dark Drive Clinic is performing in-store today at 2 pm. Their debut album, "Noise In My Head" on Metropolis Records, merges hints of heavy industrial percussion, long instrumentals, and a haunting synth sound, while Coseboom's "voice flutters around
your head like a silky scarf and the whole is like a sonic
manifestation of a romantic swoon” (The Stranger, Seattle). Not sure about you, but I'm looking forward to a voice fluttering around my head like a scarf on sounds engineered by the influential John Fryer. See you this afternoon at Origami at 2 pm!
Get ready for today with their track "Love's Lost Cross."
