You ever hear of a guy called Nick Cave and his band the Bad Seeds?! Yeah, thought so! I'm sure by now you've heard they're playing at the Shrine Auditorium on July 11th. What's that you say? You'd love to go? Would you also love to sit in the front row?!?! Because holy shit! We've got a pair of front row tickets to give away to a lucky winner! To coincide with the release of their Live From KCRW LP on RSD, we're raffling off these amazing tickets.
This is how it works:
Between Friday 11/29 and Tuesday, 12/10, anyone that comes into the shop can enter their name in the raffle. If you're the kind of dud (like me) who doesn't win anything, never fear! You can up your chances of winning by buying some records. (That's what you were coming in for anyway, right?) With every $20 you spend at OV, you get an extra raffle ticket. And more good news! If you don't win the front row tickets, we also have 2 pairs of 'normal' tickets to give away as runner up prizes. If you don't want to leave anything up to chance, starting Friday, we'll have tickets for sale for the show as well. We'll be announcing the winner at Record Club on 12/10. So if you're the type of person that likes receiving a certificate in front of a lot of people, you should definitely join us! I (Phew! I've been sitting on that info all week and I'm really glad I could finally tell you!)
